Note to self . . . Out with the Old – In with the New!

It’s been SO cold. How cold has it been? Cold enough for me to pull out of the deep dark recesses of my closet my faux fur jacket. How deep and dark were those recesses in the closet. As I looked in the mirror putting the jacket on to return home from work the other day I noticed the (how could I miss them) huge shoulders on that jacket straight out of the early 90′s. ROTFLMAO thinking about the antique wearing the antique. But, you know what? I was warm!! Perhaps if I hold onto it long enough they’ll be calling my style of dress Retro.

Note to self:  In this year of change perhaps there’s a metaphor someplace in cleaning out the closet in the new year and keeping the wardrobe fresh and stylish.  Out with the old!  In with the new!

About The Weaver of Webs

My blog 2013: A Year to Believe and Make It So chronicles this year in which I am transitioning from a successful career as an Administrative Professional and Executive Assistant to a Freelance Voice Over Artist. I am doing this at a time in my life when many contemplate retirement. No matter the circumstances in which one finds oneself or one's age or the expectations of others, it is my belief that we each have the opportunity to transform ourselves and our lives. The key is in our belief and in our best efforts to make those beliefs our reality.
